Nisswa Fire and Rescue

Since 1954, Nisswa Fire and Rescue has been a volunteer department providing fire protection and emergency medical services for the Nisswa, Lake Edwards, Lakeshore, Pelican, and Sibley communities. Our department is staffed by 27 always ready to respond volunteers

Nisswa Fire and Rescue's objectives are:

• Provide first responder and emergency medical services
• Fire prevention and education
• Firefighting and suppression
• Preservation and protection of life and property against injury and damage
