In accordance with the Governor's Executive Order 20-99 the Pickle Factory's bar/on sale operations will be closed through December 18th. The off-sale remains open.

Out of an abundance of caution the City has temporarily closed the Pickle Factory due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19. All employees will be tested before reopening. Outdoor Recreation - The DNR has issued guidelines that can help you decide what outdoor activities are best to enjoy while visiting the Lakes Area. Information about boating, camping, fishing, trail use, etc., can be found here.

 is a COVID-19 safety campaign designed to build trust among residents, visitors, and local businesses. To see what businesses are doing to protect customers and employees, you can review the businesses’ COVID-19 Preparedness Plans submitted on the Lake Country Cares website. Out of concern for the vulnerable living in our community, the Nisswa Police Department is accepting names of those that may need extra attention.  This would include the elderly that live alone and do not have family in the area or those with disabilities.  In an attempt to limit face to face contact, we will initially try to make contact by telephone.  If that fails, we will go to their residence and make contact to check their status.  Please feel free to contact the Nisswa Police Department by phone or email.  Please provide name and address of those you have concerns about as well as a phone number and health status if known. In addition, all City Commission/Committee meetings for the month of April have been cancelled. This includes Planning & Zoning, Public Works, Parks & Recreation and Gull Lake Trail Steering Committee.

The City of Nisswa is committed to providing as many services as possible during this time of uncertainty. Staff is available to help answer your questions. 

Please be mindful of current state and federal guidelines to minimize social interactions to the extent possible. We ask that you call or email us with your questions or needs instead of coming into City Hall, to the extent possible. City Hall main line is 218-963-4444. 

City departments and services that have been impacted at this time are noted below. All other City departments and services are open and available.

Community Center - closed through March 30th. If you are interested in booking the Community Center for a future event, please contact Maggi to arrange a walk through time. or 218-961-4245.

Ye Old Pickle Factory - On Sale has been closed through March 27th. Off Sale remains open from 9am-10pm Monday-Saturday & 11am-6pm Sunday.
